Zur Durchführung wird benötigt: Bacharach, Burt (Music) und David, Hal (Words): "I Say A Little Prayer". Blue Seas Music Incorporated & Casa David Music Incorporated, USA 2006

Domenico Alberti was an Italian singer, harpsichordist, and composer whose works bridge the Baroque and Classical periods. Alberti was born in Venice and studied music with Antonio Lotti. He wrote operas, songs, and sonatas for keyboard instruments, for which he is best known today. These sonatas frequently employ a particular kind of arpeggiated accompaniment in the left hand that is now known as the Alberti bass. It consists of regular broken chords, with the lowest note sounding first, then the highest, then the middle and then the highest again. This pattern is repeated. Today, Alberti is regarded as a minor composer, and his works are played or recorded only irregularly. The Alberti bass was used by many later composers, and it became an important element in much keyboard music of the Classical music era. In his own lifetime, Alberti was known as a singer. He often used to accompany himself on the harpsichord. Little is known of his life, but he was Venetian ambassador to Spain in 1736, where the famous castrato singer Farinelli heard him sing. Farinelli was said to have been impressed, although Alberti was an amateur

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Zak Baney (real name Ralph Baney) started a new genre of techno music in 1987 called acid breaks using various synthesizers. Combining Chicago's acid sound with Florida's breakbeat, it was a completely different sound. It was not his original intention to invent a new style of music - he simply just wanted something different at that time. Not knowing he would be sought after and put in the spot light, Zak Baney used many aliases and put out a string of white labels, not caring to make money or fame, he was strictly in it for the love of the music. After taking a little break and then changing styles of music, Baney again found himself in the spotlight as the Miami bass scene was just starting.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Charles Mingus, Jr. was an American jazz musician, composer, bandleader, and human rights activist. Having released numerous records of high regard, Mingus is considered one of the most important composers and performers of jazz as well as a pioneer in bass technique. Dozens of musicians passed through his bands and later went on to impressive careers. Mingus was also influential and creative as a band leader, recruiting talented and sometimes little-known artists whom he assembled into unconventional and revealing configurations. Nearly as well known as his ambitious music was Mingus' often fearsome temperament, which earned him the nickname "The Angry Man of Jazz." His refusal to compromise his musical integrity led to many on- stage eruptions, exhortations to musicians, and dismissals. Most of Mingus's music retained the hot and soulful feel of hard bop and drew heavily from black gospel music while sometimes drawing on elements of Third Stream, free jazz, and even classical music
