High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Sawyer Brown is an American country music band founded in 1981 in Apopka, Florida, by five members of country pop singer Don King's road band: Bobby Randall (guitar) and Jim Scholten (bass guitar), both from Midland, Michigan, Joe Smyth (drums), Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard (keyboards), and Mark Miller (lead vocals). After King retired in 1981, the five members decided to form a band, first choosing the name Savanna before switching to Sawyer Brown, also the name of a road near where they practiced.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Patrick O'Hearn began his professional music career at age 15 when he joined the Musicians Union and began playing night clubs in Portland, Oregon. Upon graduating from Sunset High School in 1972, he moved to Seattle and both briefly attended Cornish College of the Arts and studied privately with bassist Gary Peacock. In 1973 he moved to San Francisco and soon became involved in the vibrant Bay Area jazz scene of that time, playing bass for well-established artists Charles Lloyd, Joe Henderson, Dexter Gordon, Joe Pass, Woody Shaw, Eddie Henderson, and Bobby Hutcherson, as well as with other like-aged young musicians, including Terry Bozzio, Mark Isham and Peter Maunu.

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Ruby Vroom was Soul Coughing's 1994 (see 1994 in music) debut album. The album's sound is a mixture of sample-based tunes (loops of Raymond Scott's "Powerhouse" on "Bus to Beelzebub", Toots & the Maytals, Howlin' Wolf, The Andrews Sisters, and The Roches on "Down To This," and a loop of sampler player Mark De Gli Antoni's orchestral horns on "Screenwriters Blues" among others), guitar based tunes like "Janine," "Moon Sammy," and "Supra Genius." and jazzy, upright-bass-fueled songs that often slyly quoted other material--the theme from "Courageous Cat" on "Is Chicago, Is Not Chicago," Thelonious Monk's "Misterioso" on "Casiotone Nation," and Bobby McFerrin's cover of Joan Armatrading's "Opportunity" on "Uh, Zoom Zip."

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Primal Scream are a Scottish alternative rock group formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie (vocals) and Jim Beattie. The current lineup consists of Gillespie, Andrew Innes (guitar), Martin Duffy (keyboards), Gary "Mani" Mounfield (bass), and Darrin Mooney (drums). Barrie Cadogan toured with the band in 2006 as a temporary replacement after the departure of guitarist Robert "Throb" Young. Young''s permanent replacement has not yet been announced. They have sold 10 million albums to date. The band performed throughout 1982-1984, but their career didn''t especially take off until Gillespie left his position as drummer of The Jesus and Mary Chain. The band were a key part of the mid-1980s indie pop scene, but eventually moved away from their more jangly sound, taking on more psychedelic and then garage rock influences, before incorporating a dance music element to their sound. Their 1991 album Screamadelica broke the band into the mainstream. Despite multiple lineup changes, the band has remained commercially successful and continues to tour and record to this day.
